FINISHES
CHROMIC ANODIZE: {Type I anodize}.
Produced in dilute Chromic
Acid solution, this anodize provides a thin film approx .0001
to .0004 thickness. Since only 1/3 of the thickness is
"growth" Chromic Anodize is an excellent choice for Close Fitting
assemblies.
- Good Corrosion Resistance (336 hrs salt
spray}
- Exellent Pre-treatment for
Paints
- Good Electrical Resistance
- Mimimum Metal Fatigue
- Anti-Galling for Close Fitting
Assemblies
SPECIFICATIONS &
CERTIFICATIONS: The Formation and Properties of Anodize

are not as durable as other anodic coatings. Due to
the thin film they also are less capable of accepting
dyes.
